Privacy at MoverDash
The short version: we only collect what we need to get you quotes, movers see your move, you decide whether they can call you, and we never sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
Who is responsible
LOCOVER INC., which operates MoverDash, is responsible for your information: 170 Sumach Street, Toronto, ON M5A 0C3, Canada. Privacy questions and requests: support@moverdash.ca.
What we collect
- When you browse: standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) to keep the site secure and working. Your approximate city may be estimated from your IP address to show nearby movers; it is not stored.
- When you ask for quotes: the details of your move and the contact details you choose to give.
Who sees it
Checked movers who serve your area see the details of your move (route, size, date and notes), without your name, phone or email. When you ask for quotes, you choose whether movers can call you. Movers who quote can message you in the MoverDash chat; phone numbers and emails typed in the chat are hidden. If you say yes, a mover who has quoted your move can pay MoverDash a fee to unlock your phone number and email — that fee is how MoverDash is paid. If you say no, your phone number is never shared unless you choose to share it with a specific mover in the chat, which is free for them. You can change this any time in your account. We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept while they are useful to you and for our records, and deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time: support@moverdash.ca. We follow Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA) and, for people in Quebec, Law 25.
